A week of TUK Adventure
Day 1 – Christoffel Mountain & Mambo Beach
Start your adventure early (yes, realy early) and jump in the car at 5:30 AM towards Westpunt Curaçao. Bring some breakfast for the road because you’ll need the energy later. Get ready for a challenging climb to the highest point of Curaçao: The Christoffel Mountain. After a 1 to 1.5-hour hike, you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking Caribbean sunrise view that will leave you speechless.
On your way back, make a stop at Fruity Fusion for a well-deserved, refreshing smoothie. The rest of the day? Sun, sea, and relaxation at Bonita on Mambo Beach. Order a delicious lunch, take a dip in the crystal-clear water, and end your afternoon with a cocktail in hand, gazing at the ocean.
Tip: Bring plenty of water (yes, really, a lot) for the Christoffel hike.
Day 2 – Salt Flats & Jan Thiel
Today, we’re keeping it close to home. Put on your hiking shoes again and walk from TUK towards the Jan Thiel salt panes. Follow the forest trail into this natural area. The peaceful surroundings, flamingos chilling in the distance, and the chance to spot some local wildlife make this a must-see experience.
After your walk, it’s time to relax. A five-minute drive brings you to Zanzibar Beach Club, a beach bar right by the water in Jan Thiel. Soak up the sun, order a cold drink, and if it’s a Saturday, make sure to catch the Happy Hour at 6 PM. Afterwards, grab a pizza at the bar and enjoy it from your beach bed, pure bliss!
Tip: Follow the purple coconuts to stay on the right path through the salt flats.
Day 3 – Buggy Tour & Relaxing at TUK
Start your engines, it’s time to explore Curaçao on a 2.5-hour off-road buggy tour! Speed along dusty trails, tackle steep hills, and discover hidden spots you wouldn’t see otherwise. Get ready for an adventure with a capital A! Curaçao Activities is just a 10-minute drive from TUK. PS: Don’t wear your nicest outfit, you’ll get dirty!
After all the action, take it easy by TUK’s pool. In the evening, wrap up the day in style at Bij Blauw, a charming waterfront restaurant in Pietermaai, perfect for dining with a stunning sunset view.
Tip: Reserve a table for 6 PM to enjoy the golden hour.
Day 4 – Shete Boka & Willemstad
Today is all about nature. Shete Boka National Park, on the island’s west side, showcases the sheer power of the ocean. Watch as massive waves crash against the rugged cliffs while you explore impressive inlets like Boka Pistol and Boka Tabla. This is nature at its most raw and beautiful.
On your way back, make a pit stop in Willemstad. Park near the Queen Emma Bridge, walk across this iconic floating bridge, and dive into the colorful city center. Stroll past charming boutiques and grab a delicious coffee at La Bohème.
Sticking around a bit longer? Have dinner at De Gouverneur and try to get a balcony seat with a view over Willemstad, it doesn’t get better than that!
Tip: Want a balcony spot at De Gouverneur? Book in advance!
Day 5 – Beach Hopping
End your trip with the ultimate beach-hopping adventure along Curaçao’s most beautiful beaches:
Playa Grandi – Jump in and swim with sea turtles, a magical experience!
Playa Lagun – Snorkel along colorful cliffs teeming with marine life, like swimming in a tropical aquarium.
Grote Knip – The perfect spot to relax and reflect on an unforgettable trip.
After a full day of sun and sea, enjoy a farewell dinner at Tinto’s, where you can savor South American cuisine with a stunning waterfront view.
Tip: A good snorkel set isn’t a luxury today, it’s a must!
